We went to Paraparaumu March 29 and 30. It was so much fun, and random. we got there fairly late but in just enough time to watch the sunset :)

i got a candid picture of the girls standing infront of the hostel's sign. it was a very cute place! we all decided it looked like ur parents room in ur grandparents house that they turned into a guest room. they were so cute, one double bed and 2 single beds, perfect for 4 girls!
after a very filling dinner we went on a mission to find a bottle of wine or something to just hang out in the hostel and drink. but on our way we ran into some random kiwis who invited us into their house and gave us a couple beers each then we went down to the beach to look at the stars. i did get to see the southern cross so that was exciting :) we then got a text from one of the guys at the party asking to hang out some more so we ended up going to a park and hanging out with them and a guy was walking through the park and he turned out to be an awesome guy! he was canadian and kiwi! it was so funny because he would switch accents back and forth so much fun :)

This is the Canadian-Kiwi his name is JD

The wind was bugging jamie so he was hiding... in woddy's coat...
We were having so much fun

this is courtnea she was the mama :)curt :)

canadian kiwi telling stoires :)

after a 2hr nap in the hostel we went on a long walk down the beach and found a little wind protected cove to hide in and watched the waves roll in. i found a whole bunch of seashells walking along the shore ill be brining them home with me

this is Kapiti island it is a national forest

jenn and courtnea

beautiful sunny day but kinda cold due to the wind

i love this picture because it really shows how many shells were on the beach

The hour long train ride was beautiful. we really got to see the more rural area of new zealand. it kinda reminded me of the more remote areas of back east.

Hey Kimmy!!! heres your sheep!

backwards driving

we were along the ocean for a good part of the trip

golden rolling hills
the train station.... in a tiny town.

the dark lines are trees. they were perfectly planted along the top ridge of this mountain

every soccer field or even play ground i go by has people playing on them. Its almost wierd to see one empty.

back in wellington in enough time for dinner :)
