Lake Wanaka
Fresh water was so clear and fresh
Lake Hawea, we all decided we really wanted to come back to this lake if we had a chance
All along this one coast there were all these rocks stacked in front of a marae (the place of worship)
Just after this we got in the car, but a door was left open... the car was FULL of sand flies, we spent 10 min just spraying them and killing as many as we could find, those little buggers are vicious!!! worse than mosquitos!
We all needed to get out of the car so we saw a little trail to get out and walk down to a water fall, it was beautiful but we got slightly eaten by sand flys
