On april 14th we arrived in Dunedin in just enough time for dinner. we decided to eat at this cute irish pub it had amazing food and it was all irish based, potatoes and soup with every dinner

my friend dave met up with us later and took us up to the look out of Dunedin, its a big city and it was so pretty :)

dave was our DD but we all had to squeeze into the car
the girls turned the pub into a dance floor. i had an awesome conversation with 2 girls from Ireland for a good solid hour and a half :) i really want to go now
The next morning we got up around 10 and headed up a VERY steep and windy road to Lenarch Castle. The only castle in New Zealand it was beautiful.

we walked around the corner and this is what popped out of the thick foliage. it was so massive
came complete with a wishing well and everything
Caroline found the perfect seat
it was a little late for easter but we got our fix with pretty white flowers and ducks :)

This was the view. we all agreed that we could just imagine big white sails coming in though the sounds.
