The night of the 10th we started our journey on the interislander from wellington to Picton.
none of us remember why we did this but we did.. and it was a cute picture
The morning of the 11th Laurissa was the first driver.
and Caroline, Jen and I got the back seat.
The drive to Kaikoura looked a lot like Napa
The first beach
A church we drove past
The Albatross was one of the cutest hostels we stayed in. and yes that is our cute car out front :)
there was a rose garden across the street
this was posted in the rooms and bathrooms made us laugh a little bit. especially about if it really is an air raid in parenthesis, "for that a man in a van will yell at you all to get up"

we took a little walk at sunset it was beautiful

there wasnt a single place on the whole trip that had dirty water
This cow was interested in me :)
there were seals lining the rocks
a big grassy field we had to cross
but inorder to get to this grass field, you had to go over the fence
the sunset through my sunglasses
That evening we went to go listen to some music and have a cider or 2 at the Strawberry

We had a bonfire on the beach that night with some people we met at the bar.

we also had a jam session, turns out scott is really good at singing and playing guitar :)
